Tuto: present your employees on video

April 23, 2018

Ludiwine, Office Manager chez EasyMovie, utilise systématiquement la vidéo pour présenter nos nouveaux arrivants.  Découvez ses conseils !

  • Our new web developer has long been a customer advisor
  • Our trainee crossed the Atlantic by freighter
  •
  • One of our sales reps is a capoeira pro and does headstands on demand, right in the middle of the open space.

At EasyMovie, we didn't know that until we started making videos of all our new recruits. Here are three ideas for simple formats to present your employees internally, externally or both.

1. The "Identity Card" interview

The identity card interview is the simplest interview there is. Ask your speaker their name, their previous job and why they chose to join you. As you'll have gathered, it's not the most fun format, but it does provide the essential information.

2. The fun fact special

Add a slightly offbeat anecdote about the person. The best way to break the ice and show how you recruit unique profiles!

3. The offbeat interview

Konbini, L'ÉquipeClique, Brut, doesn't it speak to you? You ask cultural questions, you clap, you let loose: this is the most personal and fun interview. It allows you to get to know your new arrival through his or her tastes in film, music or literature.

As you can see, the important thing is to set the right tone. There's also a trade-off to be made with regard to your employees: choose the format that suits them best, depending on when they joined the company, their character, and where you intend to distribute this content.
